I got this several weeks ago and smelled a rat so I called the AT&T DSL support number listed in my phone book. I described the email to the representative I spoke to and she told me it was legit - they were migrating accounts and that I should reply to the email with the information that they requested. Not long after replying to the email, someone hijacked my account and sent out a spam email from my account using a different name. So, I got stung by both the party sending the email and also by AT&T support. Who's in charge here????
